1964 Mercedesbenz 230sl White

This unique SL benefits from long-term ownership history consisting of knowledgeable, enthusiastic caretakers. The current owner took delivery in 2011 after the previous owner, having owned it since 2002, traded it on a late model Porsche to well known -area dealer k Place Ltd. A stack of service receipts go back to 2003 with its most recent oil & filter change performed in of this year.

After a full restoration in the early ’80s, the body was reportedly stripped to bare metal and repainted in 1989 by – of , whose technicians also had a hand in the mechanical restoration.

The current owner has kept up with the maintenance schedule, performing repairs and servicing as required. recently, we installed a set of refinished, OEM Bundt wheels and new estein tires. The paint still shows well and the brightwork is in excellent condition with only minor pitting noticed on some window trim. The doors close with the classic “thud” and there is no evidence of any past body damage or accidents.

The cco wn interior features MB-Tex seating surfaces that shows well with no discoloration, stains, rips or tears. All gauges function as designed and there is an aftermarket radio installed. The glass is in good condition and retains original markings.

The car runs & drives as you would expect with no unusual vibrations or noises. It starts immediately from cold with excellent throttle response & power.

Included is a letter of history from the third owner, original handbooks, extra keys and the body-colored oda hardtop.

This SL deserves to be driven and enjoyed more often that the current owner has time for, so it’s time to go to a new home.
