1986 Chevrolet Silverado SWB – geous example of everyone's favorite shortbed squarebody! cent frame-off restoration on an extremely solid southern truck with a good history and a folder of pics to document it. ly optioned truck from the factory with it's original SPID tag still in-tact! Appropriately powered by a rebuilt 5.7L 350-V8 with 700R-OD transmission. Factory power steering, power disc brakes, cruise control and working dual fuel tanks. Truck runs, drives and cruises excellent with a new Flowmaster stainless dual exhaust system that really gives it a great sound. Truck was restored to overall stock specs with the exception of a 4/6" lowering kit to give it a more proper stance and sits perfectly on the correct 15" GM rally wheels with whiteline radial tires. Exterior is beautifully finished in the correct "Apple d" with excellent chrome and trim throughout. The bed has even been sprayed with a color-matched rhino-line for protection and a new vinyl tonneau cover was just installed as well. Even the factory rally wheels were restored and look fantastic. Interior shows very well in the correct burgandy hues and everything works as it should. ly optioned from the factory with COLD A/C, heat, tinted windows, quartz clock, tilt steering wheel, rear cargo lamp and an updated AM/FM/iPod stereo with front/rear speakers. derneath is extremely solid with no signs of any rust or rot issues and the engine bay is fully detailed throughout. We have gone through alot of trucks in our day and this one is by far one of the more solid, sorted-out and "tight" examples we have come across. A hreal head-turner and absolute joy to drive. These shortbed Chevy's have been on fire lately and it's getting tough to find the ones that haven't been modified, cut up or hot rodded. There's just something about a "good old truck" and this one here is exactly that! A real "cream puff" that's show worthy and ready for work or play!
