This 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet is one of approximately 600 North American-market examples produced for the model year, and it shows 95k miles following registration history in California and South Dakota. Finished in Grand Prix White over black leather upholstery, it is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels with body-color centers as well as a black soft top, a rear spoiler, power-adjustable front seats, an aftermarket stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2022, this Carrera cabriolet is offered in Massachusetts with a car cover, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean South Dakota title. The car is finished in Grand Prix White and features a black convertible soft top, a fixed rear spoiler, headlight washers, fog lights, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, and dual exhaust outlets. A September 2002 entry on the Carfax report notes that the vehicle was reported stolen and was subsequently recovered in October 2002. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below. The 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels feature body-color centers and anodized lips and are mounted with a mixed set of Dunlop and Kumho tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather. Amenities include an aftermarket stereo, air conditioning, a remote Kenwood CD changer, and power windows. The removed factory Blaupunkt stereo and a dashboard cover will accompany the sale. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 95k miles, approximately 700 of which were added by the selling dealer. The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 282 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service is said to have been completed in 2015. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed G50 manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned 2002 stolen vehicle report and lists at least one open recall. Filed under: g50, g50 911, g50 carrera, impact bumper, impact-bumper
