This 1956 Chevrolet Corvette was modified and refurbished between 2022 and 2024, with work including installing a 6.2-liter LS3 crate V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission. The car rides on a Roadster Shop Spec 7 chassis with a C7 coilover suspension, front and rear sway bars, and a late-model Camaro-sourced independent rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gears. A Schott 18″ wheel and Firestone tire package is fitted over the four-wheel disc brakes. The car is finished in Arctic Blue with silver coves, and it features a white soft top, an electrically operated hood, re-chromed bumpers, and replacement polished trim. The cabin was refurbished with rebuilt and recovered seats, replacement panels and carpets, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital gauges, and a retro-look Bluetooth radio. Acquired by the seller in 2022, this modified C1 is offered with build records and a clean Wisconsin title in the name of the seller’s business. The car was repainted during the build, reportedly in the factory shade of Arctic Blue, and the grille, windshield assembly, trim, and exterior lights were replaced at that time. The hood raises electronically using a Dakota Digital actuator. Details include silver coves, a white soft top, a cowl vent, a RainGear wiper assembly, and polished exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumper uprights. The car rides on a Roadster Shop Spec 7 chassis with a C7-specification coilover suspension setup. Knockoff-style Schott 18″ wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Stopping power is provided by C7 Corvette Z51-specification four-wheel discs with slotted and drilled rotors. The bucket seats were fitted with refurbished frames and sliders along with replacement foam and beige vinyl covers. Woven mats line the footwells, and the door panels, console plate, ignition switch, wiring, and trunk upholstery were replaced during the build. Appointments include Vintage Air climate control, a cue ball shift knob, and a Wonder Bar-style Bluetooth radio. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital 140-mph speedometer, while a suite of matching auxiliary gauges is mounted in the center of the dashboard. The odometer shows 34 miles, which is said to represent the mileage added since the completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown. The 6.2-liter LS3 crate V8 is a 430-horsepower variant and is equipped with a Wegner accessory drive setup and polished finned valve covers. Cooling is provided by an aluminum radiator, an electric fan, and a transmission fluid cooler. The fuel system was overhauled with a replacement tank, pump, filter, sending unit, and stainless lines with AN fittings. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, and a 2017 Camaro SS-specification independent rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gears. Stainless-steel headers feed a dual 304 TIG-welded exhaust system with an X-pipe and Borla mufflers. Bedliner material was applied to the underbody during the build. Filed under: c1
