This 1971 Porsche 911T was acquired by the seller on December 2014 and is reportedly eligible to compete in SVRA and HRS vintage racing events. The 3.0L flat-six was rebuilt in 2017 by Zotz Racing of Orlando, Florida, which included machining the case and installing JE pistons, Xtreme heads, Elgin racing cams, PMO carburetors, an MSD ignition, a JB racing exhaust, and more as described in the listing. The engine reportedly has no recorded track hours since the rebuild and produces approximately 375 horsepower. The 915 transaxle is equipped with custom gear ratios, a limited-slip differential, and a JWE 212 clutch kit. The body has been lightened using several fiberglass panels, as well as Lexan window all around. Coilover suspension has also been fitted along with three-piece wheels, a roll cage, a Recaro racing seat, and a fuel cell. The car can reportedly run in Unlimited PCA GT4 class events with the tall rear spoiler pictured in the listing below. This 911T is now being offered on a bill of sale in Mclean, Virginia. A repaint in the current white was recently performed in order to cover up the previous faded livery, which can be seen in the gallery below. The car has not been on track since the repaint was completed, and a small crack is noted in the front fender. A set of coilovers have been added along with three-piece polished wheels. The seller recommends installing a set of Hoosier R7 tires. The windshield, rear window, and rear quarter windows have been replaced with Lexan, and the roof, front fenders, hood, deck-lid, and doors are fiberglass items. The seller reports a dry weight of 1970 pounds. The 915 5-speed manual transaxle features custom gear ratios, a JWE clutch kit, a lightweight pressure plate, and a limited-slip differential, as well as a shifter and linkage from WEVO. A functional Racekeeper video recording system is mounted and included in the sale. No odometer is present and the seller notes no recorded track hours since the engine rebuild in 2017. The interior features a one-piece Recaro seat with a Schroth harness, a Sparco steering wheel, and a standard 911 dash with an Autometer tachometer. The seller installed NASCAR-style horizontal door bars to the driver side of the roll cage. The 3.0L flat-six was rebuilt by Zotz Racing in Orlando, Florida in 2017 with the following items.
