1965 Ginetta G4

This 1965 Ginetta G4 roadster is powered by a Lotus 1.6-liter twin-cam inline-four paired with a Ford Cortina four-speed manual transmission. Finished in green over black, the car reportedly was refurbished in the early 2000s under previous ownership and was purchased by the current owner in 2019. This Ginetta is now offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the current owner with a clean California title. Fiberglass bodywork is laid over a tube-frame chassis, and the condition of the green finish is shown up close in the photo gallery below. This G4 features a cut-down windshield, a side-exiting exhaust, and exterior latches for the clamshell hood. Panasport 13″ wheels wear a set of Federal Super Steel street tires. The trunk houses the battery and a racing fuel cell. The right-hand-drive interior is finished in bare aluminum with black vinyl bucket seats with a Willans four-point harness for the driver. A three-point roll bar and a fire extinguisher are present. A suede-wrapped Momo steering wheel frames water and temperature gauges, with a tachometer located in the center of the dash. True mileage is unknown. Under the front-hinged hood is a Lotus twin-cam inline-four fed by dual Weber 40DCOE carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission from a Ford Cortina.
