This 2005 Porsche 911 GT3 was converted to a track car during previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in February 2020. It is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Martini Racing-style livery over a black interior and is powered by a 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. It is is one of approximately 1,000 GT3 units imported to the US for the 2004 and 2005 model years. Equipment includes welded coolant lines, BBS E88 wheels, Tarett Engineering drop links, GT3 Cup-style sway bars, Cobra racing seats, a half roll cage, a fire suppression system, Rennline pedals, a Cool Shirt system, a Sparco steering wheel, and an AiM racing computer. This 996 GT3 track car is now offered in Massachusetts with service records, a spare set of factory wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a bill of sale. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and wears a Martini Racing-style livery that was applied in 2020 along with #076 decals. Features include a front tow hook, a rear Rennline tow hook, an external battery kill switch, an external fire-suppression activation switch, and the rear bumper is from Getty Design. Repairs were made to the front and rear bumper covers, left fender, rocker panel, and driver’s door shell, while the left quarter panel, outer and inner wheelhouse, lower panel, and upper panel were replaced in March 2011 by Monroe Collision Center of Monroe, Ohio. Receipts from the work performed are shown in the gallery. BBS E88 three-piece wheels are mounted with Nitto tires, and a spare set of factory wheels are included in the sale. GT3 Cup-style sway bars have been installed in addition to Tarett Engineering drop links. Stopping power is provided by red Porsche-script calipers over cross-drilled rotors. The rear axles were reportedly replaced in 2020 and an adjustable MOTON suspension setup is also said to be included in the sale. The cabin houses a Cobra Sebring Halo driver’s seat with head restraints and a Cobra Monaco Pro passenger’s seat, both of which are trimmed in black cloth and equipped with Schroth Racing six-point harnesses. A half roll cage has been welded in and additional appointments include a Function First shift kit with GT3 Cup shift cables, Rennline pedals, a fire suppression system, and an integrated Cool Shirt system. The driver door panel has been cut as shown in the gallery. A three-spoke Sparco steering wheel fronts an AiM racing computer with a digital instrument cluster. The odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 400 of which were added by the seller, though total mileage is unknown. The 3.6-liter flat-six features welded coolant pipes and GT3 Cup-style engine mounts. Service performed in 2020 is said to include replacement of the fuel filter, water tubes, hoses, and oxygen sensors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A Fabspeed high-flow exhaust with custom center-exit outlets was installed and the catalytic converter was deleted in 2020. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and displays history in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The last recorded mileage is listed as 24k miles in December 2019. Filed under: 996
