This Oldsmobile Delta 88 NASCAR racer was reportedly built by Hutcherson-Pagan Enterprises and is said to have been refurbished some time during previous ownership. Power is from a 358ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and the car features steel bodywork finished in a #4 Kodak livery. Equipment includes a full roll cage with padding, a fixed bucket seat, fire suppression system, rear lip spoiler, four-wheel disc brakes, and polished wheels. This NASCAR racer was acquired by the seller around two years ago and is now being offered at no reserve in Westfield, Indiana with matching pit crew uniforms, a car cover, spare wheels and tires, historical photos and literature, and a bill of sale. Steel bodywork finished in a yellow #4 Kodak livery is mounted to a tube frame chassis reportedly built by Hutcherson-Pagan Enterprises. Replacement decals are said to have been applied during previous ownership, and additional features include a rear lip spoiler, side-exit exhaust outlets, a glass windshield, and hood and trunk pins. Areas of cracking body filler are noted by the seller. Polished wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle slicks, and braking is through four-wheel discs. The car has reportedly been set up for road course use and features custom-valved Bilstein shocks. A set of spare wheels and tires will accompany the vehicle. The cabin houses a full roll cage with padding, a window net, and a Richardson Racing Products fixed bucket seat trimmed in black fabric and equipped with multi-point harnesses. Additional equipment includes a fire suppression system, a Hurst shifter, and dual MSD ignition boxes mounted to the transmission tunnel. A three-spoke steering wheel with a center pad sits ahead of an AutoMeter 10k-rpm tachometer and VDO auxiliary displays. A set of toggle switches for vehicle functions is mounted to the left of the dashboard. The 358ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt during previous ownership and reportedly features Pontiac cylinder heads and valve covers, a Barnes oil pump, Modine water and oil coolers, and a Holley 650-cfm Demon carburetor. The seller notes that the engine has not been started in several years and advises that the gaskets and piston rings be checked before any attempt is made. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Tex rear end. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below. A number of historical photos and pieces of literature are included in the sale, along with a set of pit crew uniforms, a car cover, and set up sheets for several race tracks.
