This NASCAR Cup Series race car wears seventh-generation Pontiac Grand Prix–style bodywork. It is said to have been built for NASCAR competition at superspeedway tracks, including reportedly being used by Ken Schrader for MBV Motorsports at Talladega and Daytona. It subsequently spent time in a collection in New York before it was purchased by the selling dealer. The steel bodywork wears a yellow and brown #36 M&M’s livery, and power comes from a 350ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Ron Davis aluminum radiator, Bilstein shocks, four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder and front calipers, 15″ Bassett wheels with Goodyear racing slicks, Lexan windows, a rear spoiler, a full roll cage, a fire-suppression system, a Butlerbuilt fixed-back seat, and a Simpson harness. This Pontiac NASCAR race car is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve in Sarasota, Florida, with an autographed Ken Schrader jacket and a bill of sale. The steel bodywork is styled after a seventh-generation Pontiac Grand Prix, and it is mounted over a tubular frame chassis. It wears a yellow, brown, and blue #36 Ken Schrader M&M’s livery and features hood pins, Lexan windows, and a rear spoiler. Scuffs and dents on the right side of the body can be seen up close in the gallery along with damage to the nose and wrap. Black 15” Bassett wheels with red pinstripes are wrapped in 27.0×10.0″ yellow-letter Goodyear Eagle Stock Car Special racing slicks. The car is equipped with front and rear Bilstein shocks, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder and front calipers. The cockpit is painted white and features a full roll cage along with a Butlerbuilt fixed-back seat with a Simpson harness. Additional equipment includes a window net and a fire-suppression system. The padded three-spoke steering wheel frames a central AutoMeter 10k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for water temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The car is not fitted with an odometer or hour meter, and total mileage is unknown. The 350ci V8 features a Weiand intake manifold and is equipped with a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan as well as braided coolant and fuel lines and a trunk-mounted fuel cell. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Serial number 14111589 is shown stamped into the roll cage, and a Ronnie Hopkins Enterprises stamping can be viewed in the gallery.
