1989 Ferrari 328

This 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS is a black-on-black example that was sold new in the US, where it spent time in Missouri and Illinois before being imported to Canada in 2006. Power comes from a 3.2-liter quad-cam V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and features include a removable roof panel and more. The selling dealer first acquired the car in 2008 and took it back on trade in 2014 before selling it to its current owner. Belt services and fluid flushes were carried out in 2010 and 2014, while an oil change, brake fluid flush, and alignment were performed in October 2017. This final-year 328 GTS shows under 700 miles and is offered on consignment with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit and jack, service records from 2010 to 2017, a clean Carfax report, and Alberta registration. Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Nero (FER 1240) and has been wrapped in clear protective film according to the selling dealer. Features include fog lights, side window louvers, and a removable black roof panel that stores behind the seats. Factory 16″×7″ front and 16″×8″ rear five-spoke wheels are mounted with period Goodyear Eagle ZR50 tires sized 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. A brake fluid flush and a four-wheel alignment were performed by Riegel Tuning of Calgary, Alberta in October 2017. The cockpit is trimmed in black Connolly leather with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Features include air conditioning, power windows, a rear window defroster, and a gated shifter. The air conditioning system was converted to run R134a refrigerant in January 2010 and was recharged in August 2014. A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,800-rpm redline as well as oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges. Less than 700 miles are shown on the five-digit odometer. The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection and Magneti Marelli ignition, and was rated at 270 horsepower when new. A timing belt service and valve adjustment were performed by Ferrari Maserati of Alberta at 624 miles in January 2010 along with the installation of new cam seals and gaskets. An August 2014 service at Riegel Tuning included a new timing belt, coolant flush, and an oil change, and the most recent oil change was carried out in October 2017. Manufacturer’s literature, a jack, and a tool roll are included in the sale. The March 2020 Carfax report shows history in Missouri, Illinois, British Columbia, and Alberta and lists no accidents or other damage from 2004 to present.
