This 1972 Chevrolet Blazer was sold new in British Columbia, Canada, and is said to have been refurbished and modified under previous ownership in the 1990s. The truck was acquired by the seller in 2009 and subsequently fitted with a 350ci ZZ6 crate V8, which is mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Finished in red over black vinyl upholstery with houndstooth cloth seat inserts, the truck is equipped with 15″ Mickey Thompson wheels, 35″ tires, a lift kit, power steering, front disc brakes, Auto Meter instrumentation, and a Kenwood CD stereo. This K5 Blazer is offered in Canada with a white removable hardtop, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name. The truck is said to have been refinishing in Torch Red in 2016, and features include chrome bumpers, CST door badging, woodgrain tailgate trim, and a bright grill and fuel filler. The seller notes a scratch on the tailgate, and the white removable fiberglass hardtop exhibits damage and is pictured in the gallery below. Polished 15″ Mickey Thompson alloy wheels wear 35×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The truck rides on Bilstein shocks and is equipped with a replacement close-ratio steering box. A lift kit was installed under previous ownership. Stopping power is provided by discs up front and drums in the rear. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in replacement black vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts, a body-color dashboard, and replacement black carpets. Equipment includes a heater, manual-crank windows, a Kenwood CD stereo, a glovebox, and a center console. A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an aluminum gauge panel that houses Auto Meter Ultra-Lite gauges including a speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure. The aftermarket digital odometer displays 1,300 miles, and the seller states that they have added approximately 10k miles. True mileage is unknown. The 350ci ZZ6 crate V8 was installed by the seller in 2018 and is equipped with an Edelbrock Pro Flow 4 electronic fuel-injection system. Additional modifications include an aftermarket air intake, ceramic-coated long-tube headers, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The oil was changed in 2022. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission was overhauled in 2019, and additional work performed under current ownership is said to have involved replacing the differential cover gaskets, the front pinion seal, and the transfer case and transmission fluids. The truck does not have a title, as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles. It is being sold on its registration.
