This 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible is powered by a 409ci V8 mated with a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and a 3.70:1 Positraction rear axle and is finished in red over red vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a power-operated convertible top, dual rear antennas, rear bumper guards, power steering, 14″ steel wheels, spinner-style hubcaps, Goodyear whitewall tires, dual four-barrel carburetors, and a Delco push-button radio. The Impala SS 409 convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021 and is now offered in Canada with Manitoba registration. The car is finished in red and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a power-operated white convertible top, an engine-turned taillight panel and side moldings, rear bumper guards, quad headlamps, Impala SS badging, rocker panel trim, dual rear antennas, and a dual-outlet exhaust that exits behind the rear wheels. There is a scratch in the bumper chrome. Red 14″ steel wheels wear spinner-style covers and are mounted with Goodyear bias-ply whitewall tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted Sun tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level.
