This 2003 Porsche 911 GT2 is one of just over 300 examples produced for the US market between 2002 and 2005, and it spent time in Florida before it was exported to Quebec, Canada, in June 2006. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather, and it is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 18″ 996 Turbo wheels, ceramic composite brakes, xenon headlights, replacement GT3-style seats, racing harnesses, a Becker-Porsche CDR23 stereo, a rear-mounted roll bar, and automatic climate control. The current owner acquired the car in June 2009 and has since added approximately 10k of the car’s 30k kilometers (~18k miles). This 996 GT2 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Canada with a recent invoice, the removed set of sport seats, a spare wheelset, and Quebec registration. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, and GT2-specific bodywork includes a deeper front valance with enlarged air intakes and heat extractors, a fixed rear wing, and a black lip spoiler. The Carfax report lists an accident in January 2005 resulting in disabling damage to the front of the car, and the vehicle was towed as a result. The seller attributes the accident to an incident at a carwash and notes that the front bumper cover was repaired and refinished as a result. The front hood struts were replaced in January 2023. The 18″ 996 Turbo wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The GT2 weighed approximately 220 pounds less than the contemporary Turbo and was equipped with adjustable suspension components as well as stiffer springs and stabilizer bars. Porsche Stability Management was not available, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes were standard. Front brake components were replaced in January 2023. The replacement GT3-style seats feature red racing harnesses and are trimmed in black leather, while black leather and silver stitching extend to the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a Becker-Porsche CDR23 stereo and automatic climate control. A roll bar has been fitted behind the seats, and the removed front sport seats are included in the sale and pictured below. Scuff marks can be seen on the sill plates and center console. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer as well as a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 30k kilometers (~18k miles), approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. The twin-turbocharged Mezger 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 456 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. An oil leak was repaired in January 2023. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a double-inertia flywheel and a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The Carfax report shows the aforementioned January 2005 accident as well as registration history in Florida and Quebec.
