This 1991 Lamborghini Diablo is said to have been sold new at Scottsdale Lamborghini and spent time in California, Oregon, and Missouri prior to being sold on BaT in April 2020. It later made its way to Canada, where it was acquired by the selling dealer. Finished in white over black leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter V12 linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ wheels, retractable headlights, fog lights, scissor doors, a vented engine cover, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, automatic climate control, Rydeen rear- and forward-facing cameras, and a flip-out touchscreen Pioneer stereo. Service under current ownership is said to have included replacing the front brake ducts, transmission bushings, silicone hoses, and water pump in addition to changing the oil, draining and cleaning the fuel tank, cleaning the fuel injectors, and installing a stainless steel exhaust system. This Diablo shows 28k kilometers (~18k miles) and is now offered in Canada with a clean Carfax report and clean British Columbia registration. The Marcello Gandini-designed Diablo debuted in January 1990 and featured composite and aluminum bodywork. This example is finished in white and features retractable headlights, fog lights, scissor doors, side scoops, a vented engine cover, quad exhaust outlets, and a rear wing. Fiberglass repair and paintwork were performed on the front bumper and undertray in 2019, and a chip above the rear grille and a touched-up section under the passenger-side headlight are presented in the gallery. Five-hole 17″ alloy OZ Racing wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 335/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires showing 2014 and 2015 date codes. Stopping power is provided by ventilated disc brakes at each corner. The front brake ducts are said to have been replaced in March 2023. The cabin features fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather with red piping, which extends to the door panels and dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, Lamborghini-branded floor mats, and a flip-out Pioneer touchscreen stereo linked to a JL Audio amplifier, Audiotec Fischer speakers, a Helix subwoofer, and Rydeen forward- and rear-facing cameras. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 28k kilometers (~18k miles), approximately 250 of which were added by the selling dealer. The 5.7-liter V12 was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2023 is said to have included replacing the water pump and silicone hoses, draining and cleaning the fuel tank, cleaning the fuel injectors, and changing the oil. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission bushings were reportedly replaced and a stainless steel exhaust system installed in March 2023. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California, Oregon, Missouri, and British Columbia since an initial update in 1998. The car does not have a title as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration.
