1951 GMC New Design Pickup (1947-1955)

This 1951 GMC 9433 pickup is a Canadian-market example that was refurbished and modified under prior ownership, including the installation of a 468ci V8 and a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission. The truck is finished in black with a matching grille and trim, and the interior features black leather bucket seats, air conditioning, Dolphin instrumentation, a tilt steering column, and a retro-style digital radio. Staggered-diameter American Racing alloy wheels have been installed, along with four-wheel disc brakes, coilovers, and power steering. Additional equipment includes a Quick Fuel carburetor, tubular exhaust headers, a dual exhaust system, an HEI distributor, an aluminum radiator, and a wood bed floor. This modified GMC pickup was acquired by the selling dealer in July 2023 and is now offered in Canada with Alberta registration. The truck was refinished in black under prior ownership and features a body-color front bumper and a custom rear roll pan. Additional exterior details include a color-keyed grille, trim, and running boards as well as dual side mirrors, custom taillights, and a wood bed floor with metal runners. Staggered-diameter 18″ and 20″ American Racing alloy wheels are mounted with Toyo Extensa HP II tires that measure 255/45 up front and 275/40 out back. The truck is equipped with power steering in addition to aftermarket suspension components and coilovers. Stopping power is handled by disc brakes at all four corners. The cab features modern bucket seats trimmed in black leather upholstery along with a fold-down center armrest. Three-point seatbelts have been installed for each occupant, and the truck is equipped with air conditioning, carpeted floor mats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a push-button digital radio. The aftermarket leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column and frames Dolphin instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 302 miles, and the total chassis mileage is unknown. The 468ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. The engine is equipped with a Quick Fuel carburetor, an HEI distributor, and tubular headers. An aluminum radiator has been installed. The dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle. The truck does not have a title, as it is registered in a providence that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its Alberta registration.
