This 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider was previously owned by Bring a Trailer co-founder Randy Nonnenberg, who sold it on BaT in August 2014 as lot #6. The car was offered again on BaT in July 2018, when it was acquired by the seller and relocated to Canada. Subsequent work involved overhauling the 1.8L twin-cam inline-four as well as fitting a replacement black soft top. Finished in Apple Green over black leather, the car is shifted via a five-speed manual transmission. Further equipment includes SPICA mechanical fuel injection, 15″ steel wheels, Carello-branded headlight covers, and a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel. This boat-tail Spider Veloce is now offered in Canada with British Columbia registration in the seller’s name. The Pininfarina-designed bodywork received rust repairs and replacement rocker panels prior to a repaint in Apple Green under previous ownership. The seller notes that the front end was damaged under current ownership following a collision with another car, and it was subsequently repaired with parts sourced from Classic Alfa before being repainted by Korva World Class Collision of Vancouver, British Columbia. Exterior details include a replacement black soft top and matching boot cover as well as Carello-branded plastic headlight covers and split stainless-steel bumpers. Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels wear polished Alfa Romeo-branded hubcaps and are mounted with 185/65 BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires, while a matching spare wheel and tire are stored in the trunk compartment. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The bucket seats feature headrests and are trimmed in black leather, which extends to the shift boot and door panels. A Pininfarina dash plate is accompanied by a locking glovebox, and further details include a heater, lap belts, and Alfa Romeo–branded rubber floor mats. Sound deadening material has been applied within the footwells, and a tear in the dashboard upholstery is visible on the driver’s side. A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel frames a Jaeger 140-mph speedometer and 8k-rpm tachometer, while a trio of gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the current owner. The 1.8L twin-cam inline-four is said to have been overhauled in 2020 with work involving replacing the crankshaft, pistons, and cylinder sleeves. The engine is equipped with SPICA mechanical fuel injection, and a number of its components have been plated in cadmium. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery below. The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold on its British Columbia registration, which serves as the ownership document in British Columbia, Canada.
