This 1932 Cadillac Series 370-B V-12 is a Fisher-bodied five-passenger sedan that was acquired by the seller’s father approximately 35 years ago. It is powered by a 368ci V12 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in blue with cream-painted wire wheels over tan cloth. Equipment includes whitewall tires, a rear-mounted spare, fender-mounted parking lights, rear-hinged rear doors, and a “pop-out” ignition switch. This 370-B V-12 is now offered by the seller on behalf of his late father’s estate with a clean Michigan title. Cadillac’s V-12 was introduced for 1931, and two standard wheelbase options were offered in 1932. This Fisher-bodied sedan rides on the smaller 134″ wheelbase and is finished in blue with a darker roof, fenders, and running boards. Equipment includes a polished hood ornament, V12 badging, dual horns, and fender-mounted parking lights. The seller states that the headlight and taillight surrounds, horns, and brackets have been re-chromed and that the bottoms of the doors have been repainted. Close-up photos of paint imperfections are presented in the gallery below. Cream-color wire wheels wear polished Cadillac hubcaps and are mounted with Lester wide-whitewall tires, and a spare is mounted in a black hard case out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel vacuum-assisted mechanical drum brakes. The seller notes the vacuum booster for the clutch and brakes has been rebuilt and is mounted to the engine. The cabin features seats upholstered in tan cloth along with matching door panels and carpets. Wood trims the interior window surrounds and upper dashboard. Equipment includes a locking glovebox, a “pop-out” ignition switch, Fisher door sill plates, and rear-hinged doors for the rear seat occupants. Tears in the seats are depicted in the gallery below. The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a black dashboard that features a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The 368ci V12 is fitted with a Detroit Lubricator carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower. The engine is said to have been rebuilt approximately 20 years ago with poured Babbitt bearings, reground valve seats, and replacement valves, retainers, and springs. Other work under current ownership reportedly included rebuilding the water pump, carburetor, and starter in addition to casting new exhaust manifolds that have since been ceramic coated. A Harnesses Unlimited wiring harness and modern oil filter have been added, and the fan shroud is missing. Engine stamping 1301452 is shown above, and the same number is listed as the VIN on the current Michigan title. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. The clutch was reportedly rebuilt by Fort Wayne Clutch & Driveline in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The fuel tank is said to have been relined and replacement fuel lines installed under current ownership. Corrosion is visible under the running boards.
