1931 Twin Coach Delivery Truck

This 1931 Twin Coach is a stand and drive delivery truck that is said to have undergone a refurbishment some time ago and was acquired by the current owner earlier this year. The exterior has been repainted in a blue and yellow Helms Bakeries livery, and power is provided by a 199ci Hercules flathead inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include sliding side doors, chrome bumpers, and wood storage cabinets with glass windows. This Twin Coach delivery truck is being offered with a California title by the seller on behalf of the current owner, a California wholesale dealer, and should the winning bidder be a California private party, the transaction will be processed through a licensed retail dealership. The truck was refinished in a blue and yellow Helms Bakeries livery some time ago and features chrome bumpers, sliding side doors, and a single rear taillight and dual reflectors. Areas of scratches, paint chips, and touched-up areas are noted by the seller. Blue and silver-painted 18” wheels are mounted with older Highliner tires that show signs of cracking in the sidewalls. Braking is through four-wheel hydraulic drums, and the truck rides on solid axles and leaf springs at the front and the rear. The cabin is equipped with wooden shelving that features sliding drawers with glass fronts. A single bicycle seat is present for the driver and can be folded for entry and exit. The vehicle features a traditional throttle pedal along with a combination pedal that both engages the brakes and disengages the clutch. Instrumentation includes a fuel level gauge and AutoMeter auxiliary displays for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows just under 9k miles, a handful of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown, and the seller notes areas of chipped paint in the cabin. The rear storage area is accessed via twin doors and features one row of shelving. The 199ci Hercules flathead inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
