2008 Tesla Roadster Signature 100 Edition

This 2008 Tesla Roadster is #71 of the first 100 manufactured, which were sold as the Signature One Hundred Edition. It is finished in gray over black and orange leather upholstery and features a 53-kilowatt-hour battery pack powering a three-phase electric induction motor paired with a single-speed transmission. Equipment includes a body-color removable hardtop, air conditioning, heated seats, and a JVC stereo. The car spent time in California and Texas prior to its acquisition by the seller in 2013. This Signature One Hundred Edition Tesla Roadster has 20k miles and is offered with three key fobs, CAN Jr and Sr charging adapters, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name. The Tesla roadster was based on the aluminum tub from the contemporary Lotus Elise, and shared the Elise’s windshield and windshield frame. The remainder of the carbon-fiber body panels were unique to the Tesla, and it utilized a 2″ longer wheelbase than the Elise. This example is finished in Thunder Gray and features a body-color removable hardtop, an integrated rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, aftermarket headlights, LED taillights, and an exterior charging port. CAN Jr and Sr charging adapters are included in the sale. Silver-finished 16″ and 17″ forged wheels are wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires measuring 175/55 up front and 225/45 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with cross-drilled rotors, and the car features a regenerative braking system. The seller recommends replacing the tires. The bucket seats are upholstered in black and orange leather and feature integrated headrests and Tesla logos embroidered on the backrests.
