This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is being sold by the Lake Winnipesaukee Antique eum of chester, New mpshire. Per one of its trustees, “The second owner purchased the vehicle from the original owner in 1975 as a summer car with 11,000 miles on it. A body-off restoration was performed in 1995. In 2000, the museum was founded and the second owner donated the car to it. This vehicle was not displayed in the museum, but was instead used for local parades and car shows, etc.”
The seller goes on to say, “In 2018 the Impala had cracking lacquer paint and a fading top. It was refurbished with single-stage urethane paint, a artz cloth top, and new body mounts and suspension bushings. Upgrades include a dual-circuit braking system with front discs, electronic ignition, new body mounts and suspension bushings, and white sidewall radial tires. This car has never been in snow, it retains all of its original panels, has low mileage, is absolutely beautiful, and is like new,” he concludes.
The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean New mpshire title in the name of the museum. This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible appears to be parade and cruising ready.
