Meticulously restored 1964 eville 389 H.O. ower, mba d, 2 door hardtop sport coupe.  In 2010 I purchased this from the 2nd owner who resided in fornia and owned the for aprox. 2 years.  The first owner also resided in fornia  and purchased the car from John Hine in , he owned the car for aprox. 44 years. The original fornia Black that was assigned to the car when purchased new is currently on the .  I also have the original window sticker, owners manual, protect-a-plate booklet and various license plate renewals.

Shortly after I purchased the the car was completely disassembled and was treated to a 5 year nut and bolt meticulous restoration.  All body panels including doors, hood, fenders and trunk lid were chemically stripped. The floor pans and chassis were sanded down to bare metal and then primed and sprayed with a single stage chassis black. The only rust on this car was a small hole aprox the size of a quarter located under the rocker molding on each side of the car in front of the rear wheels. Please note that the body did not need to come off the frame.

The body prep and paint was done by one of the finest painters in the country. The paint finish is absolutely pristine done in a base coat / clear coat of mba d.

The engine is a completely rebuilt  ( correctly coded 34N)  H.O. 389 ower with the correct (716) 421 H.O. heads.  The transmission is completely rebuilt 4 speed r Hydramatic.  The tripower has been completely restored and has the mechanical linkage.  Please note that this originally came with the base 303 HP – 4 barrel engine which I replaced with the above mentioned 34N ower engine code.  ing system is filled with ns terless ant which does not corrode.

The restoration included all new stainless steel transmission lines, brakes lines and fuel lines.  All new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, hardware and n Classic ll tires.  New blower motor, heater core, gas tank & sending unit and stainless steel straps   New front and rear shocks, rear springs, upper and lower ball joints, rebuilt control arms and new tie rods.  ne pulleys, fan, front springs, wheels, front control arms, radiator support, transmission support, headlight brackets, jack assembly bumper brackets, and inner front fenders were powder coated. Dashboard was completely disassembled, painted and polished. New inner and outer front wheel bearings.  All new correct upholstered front and rear seats, door panels, sun visors, headliner, carpeting, rear package tray, door sill plates, reproduction front and rear floor mats, door handles, window cranks, front seat belts, day/night rear view mirror, brake pedal and voltage regulator. Alternator and radiator core were replaced by the previous owner.  Steering wheel was recast and the steering column repainted.  Every piece of interior and exterior stainless was polished.  All exterior chrome including side view mirror was replated along with interior horn ring and button.  New dual exhaust.  New reproduction trunk mat.  All new window, door and trunk weather stripping.  New reproduction glass consisting of tinted windshield, rear window, side windows and vent windows.  New engine and front lamps wire harnesses. New correct reproduction T3 headlights.  The rear axle was originally a 2.69, which I replaced with a 3.08.

There were several N.O.S. parts used in the restoration including spinner wheel covers, factory tach (now upgraded with modern electronics)  rear tail panel, rear tail light lenses, fuel pump and spare tire.

Options include – factory tach, interior dome map reading lamp, trunk light with a reel out cord, tinted front windshield, power brakes, power steering and remote drivers side fender mounted mirror.  I have also added a retro oil, temp and volt gauge cluster to the lower dash.  Please note that I deleted the gaudy pot metal factory fender and rocker moldings during the restoration in favor of the 3 1/4″ stainless rocker moldings from a 10 miles it now reads 133 miles.

The car has been meticulously cared for and is one of the finest 1964 eville’s in existence.
