1993 Porsche 911 America Roadster 964 (Non-Turbo)

This 1993 Porsche 911 is one of approximately 250 America Roadsters built during a two-year production run to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 356 America Roadster. Produced as a widebody variant of the 964 cabriolet, the car is finished in black with a matching convertible top and leather interior. Power is provided by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and an aftermarket audio system, 19″ Champion wheels, and a Fabspeed exhaust have been added. The car was registered in Florida before moving to Ontario, Canada, in 2012 and was acquired by the selling dealer in July 2020. This 964 America Roadster is offered with a Carfax report and transferable Ontario registration. The America Roadster shared its flared fenders with the contemporary 911 Turbo, and this example is finished in Black (L741). Exterior details include a power-operated black convertible top, an aftermarket rear bumper cover with dual exhaust cutouts, and America Roadster script on the engine cover. The Carfax report notes a 1993 accident involving a parked car as well as a 2003 damage report affecting the driver-side windshield pillar. Rock chips are visible on the leading edges of the rear quarter panels, and the selling dealer notes evidence of paintwork to the front bumper cover, hood, and fenders. Three-piece Champion 19″ wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing date codes from 2011 and 2015. All America Roadsters featured Turbo-spec suspension and brakes. The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in black leather, which extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Matching carpets are protected by Porsche-branded floor mats, and an Alpine head unit and amplifier, aftermarket speakers, and a Clifford anti-theft system were fitted under previous ownership. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, and power accessories. The America Roadster featured a parcel shelf with storage compartments in place of the standard rear seats. Scratches and wear are visible on the driver’s door panel. The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames VDO gauges including a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, and a six-digit odometer showing 34k miles. The Carfax report indicates mileage inconsistencies beginning in 2003, and total mileage is unknown. The 3.6-liter flat-six produced 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Maintenance history on the Carfax indicates an engine-out service with replacement of various seals, ignition components, and the clutch in 2012. The aftermarket Fabspeed exhaust system includes a high-flow catalytic converter center pipe as well as dual pipes exiting the single muffler.
