This 2016 Porsche 911 R is #831 of 991 examples manufactured during a single model year and was first sold by Porsche Centre of Vancouver, British Columbia. It spent time in Ontario and was later moved to Alberta, where it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021. The car is finished in white with black side stripes over black leather upholstery with houndstooth cloth inserts, and power comes from a 4.0-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include 20” center-lock wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers, a 23.9-gallon fuel tank, a front axle lift system, black LED headlights with dynamic leveling, carbon-fiber mirror caps, the Sport Chrono Package, a leather-trimmed dashboard and door panels, and illuminated carbon-fiber door sills. This 911 R has 8,400 kilometers (~5,200 miles) and is now offered in Canada with factory books, an indoor car cover, a clean Carfax report, and Alberta registration. The 911 R was a limited-production variant developed in the spirit of the 1967 homologation special of the same name. Styling was based on that of the contemporary 911 GT3, with construction elements borrowed from the GT3 RS including a magnesium roof panel and a carbon-fiber hood. The model also featured a carbon-fiber deck lid and front fenders, a model-specific front splitter, a rear underbody splitter, a retractable spoiler, and an aluminum grille. This example is finished in white (0Q) with black side stripes. A collection of paint meter readings can be seen in the gallery. Exterior equipment includes body-color side skirts, SportDesign mirrors with carbon-fiber caps, a speed-activated rear spoiler, automatically dimming mirrors, a rain sensor, the Dynamic Light System with LED headlights in black housings, an aluminum-look fuel filler cap, and red taillight lenses. The center-lock 20” wheels are finished in Satin Platinum Metallic and wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Adjustable suspension underpinnings and rear-axle steering were shared with the contemporary GT3 but were specially tuned for the 911 R. A front axle-lift system was also optioned. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow six- and four-piston monobloc calipers were standard on the 911 R. Carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with silver stitching and houndstooth cloth inserts. The dashboard and door panels are also trimmed in black leather, while carbon fiber accents the dash, door panels, and center console. Additional features include automatic climate control, the Sport Chrono Package, PCM with navigation, satellite radio, the Light Design Package, Smoking Package, a fire extinguisher, and illuminated carbon-fiber sill guards. An aluminum dash plaque denotes the car as #831 of 991 examples built. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel features silver contrast stitching. It frames green letter instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with an 8,600-rpm redline flanked by a 225-mph speedometer and a configurable digital display. The digital odometer shows just under 8,400 kilometers (~5,200 miles). The 4.0-liter flat-six was shared with the contemporary GT3 RS and was factory rated at 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 338 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The 911R shares its titanium exhaust system with the contemporary GT3 RS, and a 23.9-gallon fuel tank was optioned from the factory. The Carfax report shows history in British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta, Canada, from September 2016 to November 2021 and lists no accidents or other damage.
