1966 Ford Mustang * Solid Underneath, Body Remains Straight & Clean!
This 1966 Ford Mustang was assembled in Ford’s San Jose, CA facility in February 1966, and distributed through its sales office in Los Angeles. The car remained in California until 1989, when with 84k miles on the odometer it was relocated to Kansas, and subjected to a restoration in the early 90s. At this time, the car was repainted in its original Sahara Beige, and retrimmed in a parchment pony interior with blue dash and carpets. The original A-code 289 V8 and C4 automatic transmission were both rebuilt at this time, and Vintage Air was later added. Now showing 91k miles, this Mustang wears its older restoration very well and drives beautifully. This is a perfect ‘cruiser spec’ Mustang thanks to its power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, and AC. Always stored in a dry climate, it is absolutely solid underneath and its body remains straight and clean. Invoices from the refurbishment are included in the car’s history, as is a shop manual, and the original owner’s data card.
