1964 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Coupe * W/ a 389 CID Tri-Power V8 Bolted up to a 4-Spd Muncie Transmission!
This classic car is a true testament to the style and performance of the 1960s. The Hot Red exterior is paired beautifully to the black interior. Under the hood you’ll find a 389 CID Tri power V8 bolted up to a 4 Speed Muncie Transmission putting all that power to the ground. The 4-speed manual transmission offers an engaging driving experience putting you in full control of this classic beauty. With a bold look combined with its powerful engine and manual transmission make it a standout choice for any classic car enthusiast. This GTO has been garage kept. Recently upgraded master cylinder to a Wilwood and replaced brake lines.
The red finish shows well overall, however, a few minor road chips a blemishes do appear in the photos provided. Not uncommon for a car of this vintage, which is driven and enjoyed on occasion. As they are intended to be. The exterior chrome work and wheels show in nice shape. The exterior trim shows some minor age in areas and a few small dings/pitting here and there. The interior is well cared for, for the most part. The driver seat has a small tear starting. The remainder of the seating is in nice shape with minimal wear. The carpeting shows some fading in areas, mainly on the transmission tunnel, which is common on many cars of this era. The door panels and dash are in nice shape. Like the exterior trim, the interior trim shows age in areas, such as surrounding the radio and headlight switch. Under the hood, the engine is painted with some areas chipping and a small amount of dust/dirt throughout, but overall shows nice. The radiator support, firewall and inner fenders are all painted, with a few minor chi and a small spot of surface rust here or there. The undercarriage shows in similar condition, with it being painted/coated, but a few road chips and minor dirt/dust in areas, however, everything looks nice and solid underneath.
Even with the small imperfections, I doubt this beauty would have too much trouble finding a potential buy among all the Pontiac enthusiasts out there, who would love to have this in their garage. Beautiful car here!
