1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Super Sport 2-Door Coupe

Real 138 Vin SS, same owner since 1989, first time offered for sale since 1989, some mild custom touches, dressed like it’s the early ‘90s. Approx 4K miles put on the car since purchased in 1989.

NOM (non original motor) 396 BBC, TH400-3speed AT, PS, PDB (RPO J52-OEM 4 piston discs), tilt column, black buckets, map light, wheel opening moldings, door edge guards, SS exhaust, B&M floor shifter, Hedman headers, nice chrome and stainless trim, car cover.

Paint is about an 8 out of 10. Color is Guards Red, a Porsche color. Color changed to Guards Red by a prior owner (PO). The original color is code CC, Ermine White.

Holly carb, list 3310-1 1961, Date D186 (4/18/66), = 66 L34/360HP or L35/ D206 GM1 Pass; R: 3872702 D206 GM2 Pass. 
Engine stamp – PO restamp attempt to make the 66 block correct for a 67 with EX suffix – not a correct  stamp. 
TH400 and 12-bolt rear end codes/ratio – never checked.

This is a Fremont (CA) built car that remained in the west/southwest until it came east in 1989. Arrived with a Nevada title. It is not a rebuilt rust belt car. No rot or rust. Titled in CT (1989) and then registered in NY (2016). CT title turned in to NY.  NY does not title these older vehicles so no NY title exists. Have copies of NV and CT titles. Always garaged; never driven in rain or snow on my watch. When sold it is transferred via a NYS bill of sale and a NYS “transferable” registration.

Serviced in 2024 – (4) new BFG T/A radials, 235/60-15, (4) 15×8 rallys refinished in correct argent silver (w/OEM GM trim rings and GM center caps), 2 new mufflers, new power brake booster and master cylinder, 2 new rear brake cylinders, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, rebuilt starter, 2 new rear shocks, replacement optimized points distributor and new coil, AM radio repaired (needs antenna), all external TH.  However, like any other 58 year old classic car, there is always additional maintenance that can be performed.  Some additional parts are included.
