1913 sior Big se Twin (1000cc)
drive with Eclipse clutch
The F head engine with intake valves over exhaust valves was state of the art in this era. Additional eclipse clutch was used for the belt drive. Fred Lange has owned this motorcycle for over 40 years. He has recently restored it to premier condition. The motorcycle is all original except spokes, tires and exhaust pipes. Even the leather seat cover is original.
In 1911 nacio Schwinn bought the sior Motor company and introduced its first 1000cc twin cylinder with “full chain drive”making the original belt driven a rare and desirable commodity.
