This 1918 Indian Powerplus is finished in red with black stripes outlined in gold and is powered by a 61ci side-valve V-twin paired with a hand-shifted three-speed transmission. Equipment includes a trailing-link leaf-spring fork, a Cradle Spring Frame, a double-sprung brown leather saddle, a luggage rack, a rear drum brake, footboards, and a rear wheel stand. The bike underwent a refurbishment at some time prior to being purchased in January 2013 by its previous owner, with whom it remained on display. This 1918 Model N was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2023 and is now offered at no reserve in Arizona for off-road or display purposes only with a bill of sale. The bike is finished in red with black and gold stripes and Indian-script graphics. Features include dual fuel tanks with a combined 2.5 gallons of capacity as well as a double-sprung brown leather solo seat, a luggage rack, footboards, and a rear-wheel stand. Steel 22″ rims are finished in black and wrapped in 28×3 Coker Classic Cycle Clincher button-tread tires. Suspension is provided by a leaf-spring fork up front, and the optional Cradle Spring Frame at the rear consists of a swingarm linked by struts to a pair of frame-mounted leaf springs. Braking is provided by a single internal-expanding drum at the rear which is actuated by a foot pedal on the right. A clutch-lever-controlled external band brake designed to act on the outside of the same drum has been disconnected. The pullback handlebar carries twist-grip controls and mechanical linkages for adjustment of the throttle on the left and ignition timing on the right. Control levers for gear selection and the clutch are located alongside the fuel tank on the right, and the clutch lever is linked to a clutch foot pedal on the left. The bike is not equipped with an odometer or other instrumentation, therefore true mileage is unknown. The 61ci 42-degree side-valve V-twin is equipped with a Schebler carburetor, a Splitdorf E-series magneto, and dual chrome exhaust pipes flowing into a black canister muffler with an adjustable outlet. Output was rated at approximately 17 horsepower when new, and starting is achieved with a kick lever that engages the starter-shaft cog externally. The bike is said to have not been started since it was acquired by its previous owner in January 2013. Power is sent to the rear wheel through an open primary chain, a hand-shifted three-speed transmission, and a drive chain. The bike does not have a title or registration and is being sold on a bill of sale only.
