1919 Pierce-Arrow

This 1919 Pierce-Arrow Model 31 wears Vestibule Suburban coachwork finished in black and blue. Power is from a 524ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission, and the car is equipped with a black leather driver’s compartment, a gray broadcloth passenger compartment, a driver/passenger communication system, carriage lights, and a Westinghouse Air Spring suspension. This Pierce-Arrow was refurbished during previous ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2018. It is now offered with a clean South Carolina title. The car was refurbished during previous ownership and is now finished in two-tone black and blue with cream pinstriping. Equipment includes running boards, carriage lights mounted ahead of the rear vestibule doors, and Pierce-Arrow’s signature integrated headlamps. Blue-painted wood-spoke wheels feature cream pinstripes and wear white Universal tires. Two covered spare tires are mounted on the right running board. The suspension uses Westinghouse Air Springs at all four corners. The car is shown from additional angles in the driving video presented above as well as in the photo gallery below. The right-hand-drive cabin features a bench seat for the driver and front passenger that is upholstered in cracked black leather. Black linoleum flooring is also present, and instrumentation from Westinghouse and Waltham is equipped in the black dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, although true mileage is unknown. The rear passenger area is accessed by rear-hinged vestibule doors and is partitioned off from the driver’s compartment by two panes of glass equipped with shades. The rear bench and folding jump seats are trimmed in gray broadcloth. A speaker system for communication between the two areas is equipped.
