1927 Buick Standard Six & Master Six

This 1927 Buick Master Six Model 27-54 Deluxe Sport Roadster is one of 4,310 built and is finished in a tri-tone color scheme over a green alligator skin-style interior. Power is from a 274ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Recently acquired by the selling dealer out of a collection in New Jersey, the car is said to have undergone a refurbishment decades ago during prior ownership. This Master Six Buick is now offered by the selling dealer with past awards and a clean New Jersey title. A repaint in yellow accented with olive green upper surfaces and blue fenders was commissioned during previous ownership, with the current condition of the finish is captured in detail in the photo gallery below. Exterior accessories include dual headlamps, chrome bumpers, and dual rear-mounted spare wheels and tires. A small exterior golf door is provided on the passenger side for access to the rear storage compartment. A set of vintage golf clubs are included in the sale. The tan soft top features a wood frame and glass rear window. The 21″ wood-spoke artillery wheels are mounted with Goodrich Silvertown six-ply whitewall tires. Braking is handled by mechanical drums at all four corners. Inside, green alligator skin-style surfaces are found on the bench seat, door panels, and dashboard. A tool kit is integrated within the passenger’s door. The rumble bench seat pictured above features matching upholstery and carpeting for the rear passengers. The four-spoke steering wheel features a wood rim and controls for spark advance. The dash contains controls for carburetor heat and choke, as well as an instrument panel with a barrel-type speedometer and readouts for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. 27k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, and total mileage is unknown. The 274ci OHV inline-six was rated at 75 horsepower from the factory when equipped with a single Marvel carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed, sliding-gear transmission.
