This 1929 Chevrolet AC International is one of approximately 300 convertible landau models produced for the model year is said to have been refurbished in the early 1970s. It was awarded an AACA National First Prize in 1972 and was acquired by the seller in 2021. The car is finished in two-tone tan with black fenders over tan cloth upholstery, and power comes from a 194ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a rear-mounted spare rim and tire, a central brake light, a vinyl landaulet roof, cowl lights, chrome bumpers, a rear-view mirror with an inset clock, and rubber floor mats. This Chevrolet is now offered with a repair manual, tools, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name. The Fisher-built bodywork features a hardwood framework and is said to have been refinished in two-tone tan with black fenders during the 1970s refurbishment. The forward tan vinyl roof is joined by a folding rear section with landau bars. Equipment includes orange pinstriping, a central brake light, split rear bumpers, rear-hinged rear doors, cowl lamps, a windshield sun visor, and a full front bumper. The wood-spoke wheels feature Chevrolet-branded hubcaps and painted steel rims with 4.75-5.00×20 Lincoln bias-ply whitewall tires that show cracking on the sidewalls. A spare rim and tire are mounted under a tan cover out back. The suspension features semi-elliptical leaf springs, and stopping power is provided by mechanical drums at all four corners. The cabin features front and rear benches trimmed in tan cloth along with a matching headliner and door panels. A rear-view mirror with an inset clock is mounted overhead, and black rubber mats line the floors. An AACA National First Prize plaque is affixed to the painted steel dashboard. The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of AC instrumentation including an 80-mph barrel-type speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just over 700 miles. Total mileage is unknown. The 194ci Stovebolt straight-six is equipped with an updraft Carter single-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 46 horsepower at 2,600 rpm.
