This 1929 Ford Model AA is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership and subsequently spent around two decades on display in a restaurant prior to its recent acquisition by the seller. Finished in black with Capone branding on the doors and rear, the truck is powered by a 201ci L-head inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a black vinyl interior, a folding cab visor, running boards, and wood barrels enclosed in the bed. Recent service consisted of a carburetor rebuild along with the installation of a replacement air cleaner and spark plugs. This Model AA is being offered with a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name. The Model AA truck was introduced alongside the Model A in 1927 and shares body, engine, and interior components with the car line. This example wears an older repaint in black with yellow pinstripes and Capone branding on both doors. The flatbed features wood side stakes and houses 18 barrels along with a central divider and Capone-branded rear panel. Additional features include a rear brake light, an adjustable cab visor, a driver’s side-view mirror, and a bright front bumper and headlight buckets. Close-up photos of the body and exterior blemishes are provided in the image gallery below. The yellow-painted steel wheels are wrapped in period-style Denman tires, and a full-size spare is found under the flatbed. Braking is handled by mechanical drums at all four corners. The cabin features a single bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with matching door panels and rubber-lined floors. A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-colored metal dashboard housing a central instrument cluster with an ammeter and a barrel-type speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows just under 99k miles, though total mileage is unknown. The 201ci L-head inline-four features a single updraft carburetor and was factory rated at 40 horsepower. Recent servicing consisted of a carburetor rebuild along with the installation of a replacement air cleaner and spark plugs. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission, and additional underbody images are provided in the gallery.
