1931 Indian Scout 101

This 1931 Scout comes from the final year of Model 101 production and was acquired for display by its current owner approximately 20 years ago, reportedly following a refurbishment under previous ownership. The bike is finished in black and red and is equipped with a 45ci side-valve V-twin paired with a three-speed transmission. Additional features include a Corbin speedometer, a leaf-spring front end, a sprung solo saddle, a side stand, and a cross-braced handlebar. This 101 Scout is offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a spare kickstarter and carburetor, as well as a clean Florida title listing it under its engine number in the owner’s name. The bike is finished in red and black with gold pinstripes and features a two-piece fuel tank, a hinged rear fender, and a sprung Mesinger solo seat. Additional equipment includes both side and rear stands, a horn, and a single mirror. The seller notes a scratch on the battery box and wear on the seat. Wire-spoke 18″ wheels feature black rims and wear period-style tires. A leaf-spring fork provides the bike’s only suspension, and braking is from external drums at both ends.
