This 1934 Twin Coach is a stand and drive delivery truck that is said to have originally been used by the Freihofer’s Baking Company before being refurbished in 2002 and converted to a mobile coffee stand by its previous owner. The exterior has been repainted in red with a cream-colored roof and features a driver’s side-view mirror, a single rear brake light, and chrome front and rear bumpers. Power is supplied by a Hercules flathead inline-four, and work performed since it was acquired by the seller four years ago included rebuilding the three-speed manual transmission, the brake master cylinder, the carburetor, and more. This Twin Coach Delivery is now being offered with a tow-bar setup, partial receipts, wheel chocks, two trickle chargers, and a clean Massachusetts title in the name of the seller’s business. The Twin Coach company of Kent, Ohio manufactured busses, trolleys, and small delivery vehicles from 1927 through 1955. The aluminum body panels on this example were refinished in red with a cream-colored roof around 2002, and painted signage for the previous owner’s coffee company has been added to the sides. Additional features include a step-through configuration with dual sliding doors, a driver-side mirror, single rear brake light, and chrome bumpers. An LED light bar with auxiliary brake lights and turn signals has been added out back and can be seen in operation here. Various scratches around the body are shown in the gallery below. The truck rides on 16” paint-matched multi-spoke steel wheels wrapped in Firestone knob tires. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners, and the seller reports that the master cylinder has been rebuilt. The interior features a stand-and-drive configuration with replacement bamboo flooring and cream colored panels. The vehicle can be operated with the traditional three floor pedal setup, or by utilizing the hand lever which both disengages the clutch and engages the brakes. The steering wheel and fuel gauge are said to be replacement items, and additional instrumentation includes a 60-mph speedometer with auxiliary gauges for amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows just over 68k miles, approximately 250 of which were added by the seller. The rear storage area is accessed via an overhead door and features custom shelving. Power is supplied by a Hercules flathead inline-four linked with a three-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt in 2016. Additional work performed during current ownership is said to have included rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the fuel tank sender, and flushing the coolant. The six-volt electrical system has been retained, while a 12-volt battery wired to the starter powers the rear light setup. Supplemental bracing was added to the rear frame to support heavier loads, and the seller reports that replacement sub-flooring has also been installed. Additional underbody images are provided in the gallery, along with copies of factory literature. A start-up video is presented above, and in-cab driving footage can be seen below. An additional driving video can be seen here.
