This 1935 Ford Model 48 Deluxe is a three-window coupe that was refurbished between 2007 and 2013 before it was purchased by the current owner in 2019. The car is finished in black over tan cloth upholstery, and power comes from a 221ci flathead V8 with Eddie Meyer cylinder heads linked with a three-speed manual transmission and a Columbia two-speed rear axle. Features include 16″ green-painted wire wheels, turn signals, a greyhound hood ornament, a rumble seat, a roll-down rear window, an AM radio, lap belts, a rear-view mirror with an inset Ford-branded clock, and a rear window shade. This Model 48 is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Wisconsin title in the owner’s name. The three-window bodywork was refinished in black during the 2006 refurbishment, and it features chrome bumpers and bright trim around the grille, headlights, and tilt-out windshield as well as a greyhound hood ornament, turn signals, dual exposed horns, running boards, dual side-view mirrors, a roll-down rear window, and dual taillights. The green-painted Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels wear chrome Ford hubcaps and are mounted with 6.00–16 Coker Classic whitewall tires. A matching spare wheel is housed in a body-color cover out back. The Model 48 rode on a 112″ wheelbase and featured front and rear transverse leaf springs with lever-arm shocks. Stopping power is provided by mechanical drums at all four corners. The cabin features a bench seat trimmed in tan cloth upholstery along with a color-matched headliner, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a painted steel dash with bright vertical trim, an AM radio with a headliner-mounted speaker, a rear-view mirror with an inset Ford-branded clock, lap belts, and a rear window shade. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Bosch temperature gauges are mounted beneath the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The rumble seat is trimmed in brown vinyl with color-matched side panels. The 221ci V8 is topped by a Stromberg carburetor and features Eddie Meyer finned cylinder heads. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission and a Columbia two-speed rear axle.
