1936 Buick Special Black Coupe 40 series

This 1936 Buick is for sale.  I have owned this vehicle for almost 10 years,  it has served me very well.  One of the best features of this ole Buick is it starts right up and runs so smoothly one has to listen closely to hear it.  New brakes and new radial tires made this ole buggy run drive a genuine pleasure. One will have to look near and far to find a more original ole Buick.  about 7 years back I totally stripped the paint,  repaired the minor rust and dents then sealed the body work with epoxy primer and then painted with three part paint, hardner and reducer.  What you see in the photo’s is the result, the paint work would rate an ‘8’ on anyones scale.  The interior and trunk have the original mohair  interior,  just as it left the Buick factory in way back in 1936.  The old banjo steering wheel invites one to hop in,  fondle the wheel and go for a spin,  you will most definitely turn heads as you motor thru town. 
The ole “straight ‘8’ engine with the Zenith two barrel carb fires right. up on demand and yes of course supplies the power to the real wheels as all that torque carries the load up and down hills with ease. It is said that a photo is worth 1000 words,  I need to hush up and allow the pics to do the talking.  
*The one most important thing I can relate here is how this ole Buick when looking it over absolutely reeks originality.  in let me remind you how much difference changing out the wheels and tires made so much difference in how this can rides, drives and handles.
