This 1936 Lincoln Model K is one of 20 examples produced for the model year with Model 330 convertible roadster bodywork by LeBaron. Chassis K6465 underwent a refurbishment under previous ownership and earned an AACA National First Prize in 1982. Subsequent refurbishment work performed in 2012 is said to have involved an overhaul of the 414ci V12 and replacement of the tan Haartz cloth top. The car is finished in cream with burgundy fenders over burgundy leather upholstery, and equipment includes a three-speed manual transmission, four-wheel mechanical drum brakes, artillery-style 16″ wheels, whitewall tires, dual side-mount spares, a reverse light, a fold-down luggage rack, a rumble seat, a golf-bag door, a greyhound hood ornament, yellow-lens driving lights, and a heater. The selling dealer acquired the car in February 2024, and the fuel system was subsequently serviced and fluids were changed. This K-series Lincoln is now offered with a cloth top boot and a clean Wisconsin title. The Model K was restyled for 1936 with a revised grille, lowered headlights, and a steeper windshield rake, and it was available with both factory-built bodies as well as offerings from coachbuilders Brunn, LeBaron, Judkins, and Willoughby. The LeBaron-built body on this example was refinished in cream with burgundy fenders under previous ownership and features chrome bumpers and overriders, yellow-lens driving lights, a greyhound hood ornament, running boards, a tan Haartz cloth top, a right-side golf-bag door, dual taillights, a reverse light, and a fold-down luggage rack. An AACA National First Prize plaque is affixed to the grille. Tan-painted artillery-style 16″ wheels wear chrome Lincoln V12 hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 2013 date-coded BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. Matching spare wheels topped with burgundy hard covers and chrome mirrors are positioned in the fenders. The Model 330 rode on a 136″ wheelbase and front and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. The cockpit features a bench seat trimmed in burgundy leather along with a color-matched dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes a HaDees H-200 heater, a locking glovebox, and manual-crank windows. The AM radio does not work. The burgundy three-spoke steering wheel fronts a steel dashboard with bright trim housing a 118-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with an inset clock. A Sunpro water-temperature gauge is located below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 25 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown. The rumble seat is trimmed in matching burgundy leather, and the carpeting is paired with a movable footrest. The 414ci V12 features a Stromberg carburetor, automatic spark control, and polished cylinder heads, and it was factory rated at 150 horsepower. The engine is said to have been overhauled in 2012. The fuel system was serviced and the oil and coolant were changed in preparation for the sale. The engine stamping is shown above, while the chassis tag showing the matching number can be seen in the gallery. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission.
