This 1937 SS Jaguar 100 is one of fewer than 200 examples built in 2½-liter form during four years of production and was first registered in Wolverhampton, England, in May 1937. Chassis 18097 reportedly remained with its original owner until it was sold to a Staffordshire dealer in 1960 and was soon after purchased by a London owner.
