This 1937 Packard One Twenty features convertible sedan bodywork and was delivered new to Market Street Auto Sales of Clearfield, Pennsylvania. It was refurbished under previous ownership and was listed on BaT in December 2022 before it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2024. The car is finished in cream over gray leather upholstery, and power comes from a 282ci straight-eight paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a tan soft top, chrome bumpers, running boards, wire wheels, and a cormorant hood ornament. Service performed in 2022 reportedly included a rebuild of the carburetor. This Fifteenth Series Packard is now offered by the selling dealer with a fold-down luggage rack, Packard Club literature, and a Florida title. The bodywork was painted in its current cream in 2006. Styling incorporates chrome bumpers, dual taillights, running boards, and a cormorant hood ornament. The tan soft top was installed in February 2020 along with new wood C-pillar framework and weatherstripping. A luggage rack is included in the sale. The 16″ chrome wire wheels are mounted with whitewall radial tires. The One Twenty rides on a 120″ wheelbase and features an independent front coil-spring suspension with leaf springs out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drums. The cabin features front and rear bench seats that were reupholstered under prior ownership along with matching door panels and dark gray carpets. The black three-spoke steering wheel fronts a body-color steel dashboard with painted woodgrain inserts housing a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows under 14k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The 282ci L-head straight-eight features five main bearings and was factory rated at 120 horsepower. A rebuild of the carburetor was reportedly performed in 2022, and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The chassis tag shows delivery to Market St. Auto Sales of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, on June 1, 1937, as well as the car’s serial number. The Florida title is listed as a duplicate.
