This 1950 Oldsmobile 98 Deluxe Convertible Coupe, wearing an older restoration that’s said by selling dealer West Coast Classics to be holding up very well, also reportedly runs and drives very well — with power delivered by its Rocket V8 engine. The car also has an automatic transmission and luxury features including a power top, power windows, and a power driver’s seat. “There are no signs the car has had any accidents and there are no signs of rust,” adds the seller. 

• Under the hood is an Oldsmobile “Rocket” 303-cu.in. OHV V8.
• With a two-barrel carburetor, the engine was rated new at 135 horsepower.
• The engine is paired with a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
• According to the seller, the engine temperature remains cool and the transmission shifts smoothly.
• Per the car’s “10” paint code on the trim tag, it was originally painted black.
• During the restoration, it was repainted red.
• The finish appears in very good condition, with no reported significant blemishes.
• The seller also reports no obvious signs of previous accident damage or rust.
• All the exterior chrome and trim are also said to be in very good condition.
• There are no reported issues with the black convertible top or its power operation.
