In the years immediately following World r II, revamped its WC military truck platform. The result was the three-quarter-ton M37 and while it carried over a number of components from the WC, along with elements of the civilian Power gon, it introduced a number of new features. This 1951 M37 4×4 Pickup comes from the truck’s first year of production. A comprehensive, two-year restomod transformation was completed in 2020 and fewer than 300 miles have been added to it since then. It has an updated powertrain, chassis, and suspension elements, along with modern air conditioning, a modern audio system, and more. “It’s still a fresh build and in great condition,” says the selling dealer, who is representing the vehicle on consignment. 

  • The “stroker” engine is an ATK-built Chrysler 408-cu.in. OHV V8 with five-speed manual transmission.
  • From there, torque is split to the front and rear wheels via an NP 205 two-speed transfer case.
  • The restored and reportedly “rust-free” body was media-blasted and epoxied prior to painting.
  • The color is a Porsche Slate , sprayed with Glasurit basecoat/clearcoat materials.

  • Additional upgrades include a 1-ton crossover steering system with heavy-duty knuckles.
  • There’s also a front stabilizer bar and a new steering box, as well as four-wheel disc brakes.
