This 1952 Willys Station Wagon was reportedly used by the US Forestry service in California before being refurbished by a previous owner and acquired by the selling dealer around three years ago. Finished in red with black front fenders and two-tone brown side panels over a red fabric and vinyl interior, the truck is powered by a 350ci Ram Jet V8 paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include Ford Mustang II front suspension components, a 9” rear axle, cruise control, an under-dash air conditioning system, and tinted windows. This Willys Wagon is being offered by the selling dealer with a clean Illinois title. The exterior has been repainted in red with black front fenders and two-tone brown side panels. Additional features include a front spotlight, a rear receiver hitch, Willys-branded rear mudflaps, yellow front fog lamps, dual side-view mirrors, tinted windows, and chrome bumpers and trim. The red-painted 15” steel wheels feature chrome trim rings and hubcaps and are wrapped in 225/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial tires that show 2013 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs, and the truck rides on Ford Mustang II independent front suspension. A full-size spare is found inside the cabin. The interior features two rows of split bench seats trimmed in red vinyl and tartan fabric with black piping, along with wood door panels and red carpets lined with black rubber mats. Amenities include an under-dash Vintage Air A/C system, cruise control, two glove boxes, and 3/4 front vent windows. A clutch pedal has been retained but is not hooked up. A white two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-colored metal dashboard housing a suite of centrally-mounted Classic Instruments gauges including a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary displays for fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 12k miles, around 2k of which have been added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown. The 350ci V8 was installed during previous ownership and features Chevrolet-branded chrome valve covers. The selling dealer notes that the fluids were flushed in 2020. A floor-shifted Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission has been installed in place of the factory manual gearbox, and power is sent through a Currie 9” rear axle.
