“This 1955 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible received a total body-off-frame restoration by Larry Bartley at Corvette Restoration in Elizabeth, Indiana,” the seller states. “Its gelcoat was all redone; [the car was repainted]; everything was rebuilt including the engine, Powerglide transmission, and torque converter; and the interior was upgraded to Al Knoch leather upholstery with tan carpeting. The convertible is also equipped with a heater, AM radio, parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, and windshield washers. “This car is in nearly flawless condition,” he notes. “Since its completion, it’s been driven only 183 miles, just enough to sort everything out.”
