1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Townsman station wagon was acquired by the current owner in 2016 and underwent a three-year modification and refurbishment process that was completed in 2021. Work included a color change to Onyx Black, reupholstering the interior in red and black vinyl, and installing a 383ci V8 paired with a 4L60E four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Additional equipment includes a Ford 9″ rear end, Holley Terminator EFI system, 20″ Detroit Steel wheels, Ride Tech coilovers, Wildwood four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a Vintage Air climate control system, a 29-gallon fuel tank, Dakota Digital gauges, and an AM radio. This Bel Air Townsman is now offered with recent records, spare parts, manuals, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name. The seller states that rust repair was carried out in 2018, followed by a frame-off repaint in Onyx Black and India Ivory. Equipment includes silver anodized beauty panels on the rear quarters, gold badging, and aftermarket LED brake lights, turn signals, and parking lights. The car is equipped with Classic Performance Products power steering and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Ride Tech suspension components include the front sway bar and control arms, four-link rear end, Panhard bar, and four-wheel coilovers. The cabin was stripped during the refurbishment process and sound insulation was applied to the roof, dashboard, door panels, and floor panels. The tri-tone bench seats were reupholstered in a mix of black and red with white piping. Equipment includes a Vintage Air climate control system, rubber mats, lap belts, and an AM radio.
