1958 Chrysler Imperial

This 1958 Imperial Crown convertible was acquired by the seller in 2006 and imported to Alberta, Canada. The car is finished in Ballet Blue over Misty Pale Blue and powered by a 392ci Hemi V8 paired with a three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated soft top, 14″ wheels, chrome bumpers and trim, a push-button gear selector, power-assisted steering, and an Electro Touch-Tuner radio. This Crown convertible is now offered with a 1958 service manual and Alberta registration assigned to the seller’s business. The car is reportedly one of 675 Imperial Crown convertibles produced for the 1958 model year, and the seller states the body was refinished in the factory color of Ballet Blue under previous ownership. The white power-operated soft top was also replaced, and additional equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, quad headlamps, circular parking lamps, and a FliteSweep deck lid equipped with a faux spare-tire bulge. The seller notes bubbling on the right rocker panel and loose stitching that binds the clear plastic on the rear plastic window. Steel 14″ wheels wear chrome covers and wide whitewall tires. A full-size white wall spare is stored in the trunk with the original jack. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, and the seller notes the braking system was overhauled in 2018. The seats and door panels are upholstered in Misty Pale Blue leather with cloth inserts. Amenities include a power-adjustable front seat, power windows, a heater, branded door sill guards, and an Electro Touch-Tuner radio. The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a push-button shifter positioned on the left side of the dashboard.
