This 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air is a nine-passenger station wagon that was acquired by the seller in 2005 from the reported original owner and was subsequently modified. The car is powered by a GM Performance 350ci V8 paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a locking differential and is finished in green over green vinyl and cloth. Features include power steering, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, air suspension with adjustable Fox shocks, 15″ alloy wheels, Vintage Air climate control, a hidden Alpine stereo, a power rear window, tinted windows, and a dual exhaust system. This modified Bel Air is offered with service records and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in green and exterior features include quad headlights, tinted windows, and chrome trim, mirrors, and bumpers. Five-spoke 15″ American Racing wheels wear Cooper CS5 Grand Touring tires in front and BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in back. Braking power is provided by Wilwood four-piston calipers over vented discs at each corner with a Wilwood master cylinder and an adjustable proportioning valve. CPP power steering is reportedly installed with a 500-series steering box, and the suspension features tubular front control arms and rear trailing arms, along with Hotchkis front and rear sway bars. RideTech air-suspension has been added along with 16-way adjustable Fox shocks, and a five-gallon aluminum air tank with dual compressors is fitted below the third-row seat. The cabin features front and rear bench seating upholstered in green vinyl with patterned cloth inserts joined by a matching dashboard, door panels and carpets. Features include power steering, Vintage Air climate control, a folding rear-facing third-row bench seat, and an air ride controller. An Alpine stereo is installed in the glovebox along with Kicker speakers in the kick panels and rear compartment. The factory AM radio is not connected. The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal sweeping 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. Aftermarket gauges consist of a column-mounted tachometer and a coolant temperature gauge mounted beneath the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 40k of which were added under current ownership. The odometer has rolled over and total mileage is unknown. The replacement GM Performance 350ci V8 is said to have been installed in 2017. Features include a Holley 770 four-barrel carburetor and dual-snorkel air cleaner, an Edelbrock intake manifold, aluminum valve covers with a hidden PCV valve, a Napa mini starter, and a 180-amp alternator. Cooling is provided by an aftermarket aluminum radiator and a mechanical and electric fan. The under-hood brackets, inner fenders, core support, and air cleaner are powder coated in black. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Monster Performance 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Currie 9-inch axle with a Detroit Locker differential and 3.55:1 gearing. Additional features are said to include a Bowler lock-up control module, 31-spline axles, 1350 U-joints, a one-piece driveshaft, and a four-link rear suspension. The transmission is said to have been installed in 2018. A dual-exhaust system is fitted and consists of Hedman full-length headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and 2.5″ piping.
