This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was acquired by the current owner’s father in the 1970s, and work since 2018 included refinishing the car in white, refreshing the black interior, and installing a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, Wilwood front disc brakes, and QA1 suspension components. The car is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci V8, and additional equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels, an HGM transmission controller, a RetroSound radio, and Dakota Digital instrumentation. This C1 Corvette is now offered in Canada by the seller on behalf of the current owner with Ontario registration. The seller reports that the car was refinished in Pearl White following a frame-off restoration, including a Lee Bumb Composites front end and a stripped and epoxy coated frame. Noted flaws include scratches and blemishes on the bumpers and rocker panels as well as paint blemishes on the left quarter panel, left door handle, and fuel filler. The digital odometer shows 551 miles. Total mileage is unknown. The 327ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock fuel injection system, and work in 2018 included honing the block, polishing the crankshaft, replacing the bearings, and painting the block orange.
