This 1963 Chevrolet K20 pickup is a 3/4-ton Canadian-market example that was acquired by the seller approximately a decade ago and was subsequently refurbished and modified. A 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 and an Allison five-speed automatic transmission were installed during the build, along with the front subframe and axles from a 2009 Ford F-250, four-wheel disc brakes with Hydroboost, and power steering. The truck was repainted red, and the interior houses black modern bucket seats along with a center console, a Vintage Air air conditioning system, AutoMeter instrumentation, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Kenwood stereo. Additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, 20″ Fuel wheels, Bilstein shocks, LED headlights, and a wood-lined bed floor. This modified K20 pickup is now offered in Canada with Ontario registration in the seller’s name. The truck was repainted red under current ownership, reportedly following replacement of the roof and other sheet metal repairs. LED headlights and smoked glass were added, and the bed was fitted with wood slats with body-color runners. The 20″ Fuel wheels are mounted with Toyo Open Country A/T tires. The front subframe from a 2009 Ford F-250 has reportedly been grafted to the frame and incorporates power steering, Bilstein shocks, and disc brakes with Hydroboost. The rear axle is also said to have been sourced from the donor F-250 and additionally features Bilstein shocks and disc brakes. An E-Stopp electronic emergency brake system has been installed. The bolstered bucket seats were sourced from a modern vehicle and are trimmed in black vinyl and cloth and joined by a color-coordinated fold-down armrest. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, Chevrolet-branded floormats, and a Kenwood digital stereo wired to an Alpine amplifier, 8″ subwoofers, and aftermarket speakers. Sound deadening material has reportedly been applied to the roof, floors, and firewall. The right turn signal does not self-cancel. The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames an AutoMeter 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 27k miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The Duramax 6.6-liter LB7 turbodiesel V8 is said to have been sourced from a 2001 Chevrolet and rebuilt prior to installation by the seller. The engine is equipped with a Behr air-to-air intercooler and a K&N air intake system, and an aluminum radiator has been fitted. The head gasket and injectors are said to have been replaced during the rebuild, and the oil was changed and the fuel filter was replaced in 2023. Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels via an Allison five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Corrosion is visible on underbody components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery. The car does not have a title, as it is being sold in a country that does not issue titles for road vehicles. It is offered with its Ontario registration.
