This 1963 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 was acquired by the seller in 2023 and was subsequently modified with an Aqualu aluminum long bed, a repaint in matte gray, and the installation of a 3.0-liter 1KZ turbodiesel inline-four, a five-speed manual transmission, an Old Man Emu 4″ suspension lift, and 17″ Black Rhino wheels. The interior was fitted with Scheel-mann heated bucket seats, Dakota Digital gauges, an NRG steering wheel, a Bluetooth module, and a Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system. Additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, front disc brakes, power steering, manually locking front hubs, an ARB front bumper, a Smittybilt winch, a Front Runner roof rack, LED headlights and an auxiliary light bar, and a rear-view camera. This Land Cruiser FJ45 is now offered in Canada with build photos and Alberta registration in the seller’s name. An Aqualu aluminum long bed was installed and the truck was repainted matte gray with a black roof under current ownership. An ARB front bumper and Smittybilt winch were also installed, along with a Front Runner roof rack, a 50″ light bar, LED headlights, and an illuminated Land Cruiser front badge. The 17″ Black Rhino wheels are wrapped in 35×12.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, and a matching spare is mounted in the bed. The truck is equipped with power-assisted steering, front disc brakes, and manually locking front hubs. An Old Man Emu 4″ lift kit and steering stabilizer have been added. The cab houses Scheel-man heated bucket seats trimmed in black leather upholstery with folding armrests. A center console with cupholders was also installed during the build, along with an under-dash Vintage Air air conditioning system, a Bluetooth module, an NRG steering wheel, and an aftermarket rearview mirror wired to a rear-view camera. The Dakota Digital instrument cluster incorporates a 200-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An Isspro boost gauge is mounted at the left of the dash. The digital odometer shows 720 kilometers (~447 miles), though total chassis mileage is unknown. The 3.0-liter 1KZ turbodiesel inline-four was installed during the build in 2023 and is fitted with a conical air filter. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A custom-fabricated diesel tank is mounted below the bed. The chassis number 3FJ4513684 is shown above, and the VIN on the Alberta registration omits the leading “3.” Photos taken during various stages of the build are presented in the gallery below. The truck does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration. Filed under: fj, fj 45, fj-45
