This 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible is finished in Regal Turquoise over a turquoise interior and is powered by a 430ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, 15″ steel wheels with whitewall tires, reverse-hinged rear doors, chrome trim, air conditioning, a power-adjustable front bench seat, woodgrain interior trim, and an aftermarket cassette stereo. Work completed under prior ownership is said to have included rebuilding the engine and repainting the body. This Continental convertible was acquired by the seller in 2019 and is now offered in Canada with an Ontario registration document in the seller’s name. The Elwood Engel-designed fourth-generation Continental was refreshed in 1964 with a longer 126″ wheelbase, chrome vertical grille accents, a revised rear deck trim panel, and a relocated fuel filler door on the left quarter panel. This example left the factory finished in Regal Turquoise (U) and was reportedly repainted under prior ownership around 2010. Details include a power-operated white soft top, reverse-hinged rear doors, a driver-side mirror, a Lincoln hood ornament, and chrome trim on the bumpers, rocker panels, wheel arches, and windshield surround. There is a dent in the trunk lid, and bubbling is noted on the right fender and rear door. The seller states the power top mechanism is in need of service. Steel 15″ wheels wear bright hubcaps along with whitewall tires. Power steering was factory equipment along with power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes. The cabin features bench seating trimmed in Turquoise joined by matching door panels and a coordinated lower dashboard and carpets along with woodgrain trim accents. Equipment includes a power-adjustable front bench seat, lap belts, power windows and locks, folding center armrests, and an aftermarket cassette stereo mounted beneath the dashboard. The AM radio is not connected, the air conditioning system has been disabled, and there is evidence of corrosion beneath the left-rear door. The three-spoke steering wheel features a Lincoln center emblem and fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The forward-hinged hood opens to reveal a 430ci V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor that was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The seller states the engine was rebuilt under prior ownership around 2010, and the oil was changed in June 2022. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission and a 2.89:1 standard differential. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery. The serial number reveals the car is a 1964 four-door convertible model built in Wixom, Michigan, and is equipped with a 430ci V8 and four-barrel carburetor. Decoding the door tag reveals the following information: Body: 74A – Four-door convertible Color: U – Regal Turquoise Trim: 87  – Turquoise leather Date: 15G  – July 15th build date DSO: 52 – Los Angeles, California, delivery district Axle: 1 – Standard differential with 2.89:1 gearing Transmission: 4 – Dual-Range automatic The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its Ontario registration.
